By Train
Accessible by train to and from Dublin City Centre Connelly or Pearse Station (Arrow Service) in 20 minutes. Get off at Donabate Train Station. Walk or take a taxi to the beach (Approximately 1.5 miles). Visit www.irishrail.ie for time table details.
Coming from City Centre
2 choices:
1. Port Tunnel Option - Enter port tunnel at Dublin Docks (north side near Point Theatre) - Peak time (4pm - 7pm) prices 12 euro per car / Off peak times 6 euro per car. HGV free at all times. Takes approx 20 minutes in total. Stay on M1 after tunnel ends. Take exit for Donabate. Follow signs to beach - hotel located at the beach.
2. Take N1 out of city centre (Dorset street - look for AIRPORT SIGNS). N1 connects soon to M1 towards Belfast. Exit for Donabate and follow signs to Donabate Beach. Hotel located at beach.
Coming from Dublin Airport
From Airport grab a cab or drive 10 minutes (8 miles) - back onto M1 towards Belfast, take next exit for Donabate, follow signs for Donabate beach. Hotel literally at the beach.
Coming from the NORTH
Takes approximately 2 hours and is a straight drive down the M1. After Toll Bridge at Drogheda, keep your eyes out for exit for Donabate/Skerries/Newbridge House. Into Donabate village. Turn right before church for beach. Hotel at the end of this road - at the beach.
Coming from the SOUTH
Follow signs to Dublin. Get onto M50. Head north for Belfast. Exit M50 onto M1. After Swords exit, take next exit for DONABATE. Follow signs to beach. Hotel located at the beach!
