I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. My room was very comfortable, clean and had a great view of the bay. The service was impecible and all staff were very friendly too. All over I really enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was great, nice bar for predinner drinks. Good music on Friday night. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel in Donabate. It's recently refurbished breakfast room and lounge/bar where tastefully decorated. The views from the lounge and our room were fantastic - we could see the Wicklow mountains.

Booking online can be quite risky but we certainly were surprised and happy with results this time. The modern looking building at first gave us pause when we arrived by taxi from the Dublin airport but once inside that all changed. The staff were exceptional; the rooms were clean and well supplied even though a bit small but WOW on the view of the beach; and the restaurant/pub served great food in a stunning setting. As senior citizen there was one drawback, we are not walkers and getting to the train station turned out to be an expense we did not expect. On two occasions the staff gave us a lift -- something they should arrange for on a regular basis for those who don't walk.
